Sierra National Construction
Sierra National Construction, Inc. was originally established in 1979 to build high-end custom homes and small commercial projects. The Company refocused over the years and now specializes in a wide range of public works projects throughout Northern California. The Company’s first large commercial undertaking was Riverbank Marina in 1984, a $12M marina and commercial complex on the Sacramento River. In 1987, the Company constructed its first public works project, a design/build of the Old Sacramento Moorage Facility.
Since then, SNC has constructed hundreds of public works projects including water, sewer and storm drain facilities, pump stations, water treatment plants and fiber optic networks. The Company’s projects have also included schools, community centers, vocational shops, warehouses, child care centers, parks and aquatic centers, marinas and levees, and even a fish hatchery and bowling alley.
In the late 1990’s, SNC shifted from building projects to engineering projects. However, SNC continues to undertake building projects on a selective basis.
In 2005, SNC established a second division, Sierra National Asphalt, which performs asphalt, striping and site concrete work.
